Berlin, Germany – 16. June 2022 – IMAGO are proud to announce the winner of this year’s IMAGO Photography Scholarship as Hafsa Javed.
Javed’s striking street photography evokes the vibrancy of her surroundings and the lives of the locals. Buying her first ever camera ten years ago with her savings, Javed continues to use the same camera ten years on – the only thing that has changed for the photographer was constant practice.
Proud to support emerging talent with vision, diversity and dynamic ideas, IMAGO are pleased to announce the 2022 winner. A program to provide emerging photographers, producing work that compels expert and professional support to advance their artistry and career IMAGO continue to work with great depth within the photography industry.

“The scholarship will enable me to be able to buy better equipment that will give me the extra push that I need in order to become even better and more focused while getting to learn about photography as much as possible,” said Hafsa Javed.
