Introducing the IMAGO Weekend Roundup. Every Monday we will showcase the best images we received over the weekend for you to enjoy.

By IMAGO

Curated by our Picture Desk, we catch you up on the news and stories from across the globe. From uncovering stunning creative images, diving deep into the major news stories to the moments to remember from the sporting world.

In the weekend that saw Strasbourg march for freedom, Barcelona turn out in force in support of the right-wing party and the first homemade COVID vaccines distributed to the vulnerable in Moscow, our IMAGO photographers were on the front line capturing the fight and voice of people around the world.

In sport, the Bahrain International Circuit saw Estaban Ocon take 2nd position with wins also for Chelsea in their premier league match against Leeds United and Mike Schumacher following in the footsteps of his legendary father to join Formula 1 next year.

Our creative photographers were also busy, giving us our much needed art inspiration this weekend with some stunning shots from the corners of the world, from the closed seafront in Porto to the sun setting across the snowy landscapes of Russia.
