Leon Draisatl

Still only 25 and reaching the top of his sport. Not bad for someone with the middle name “Tim”

Khabib

Best thing you can say is that he never looked like losing. Honored both the passing of his trainer AND his mother in retiring.

Anthony Davis

Many didn’t like the way he left the Pelicans but few can argue that the year one Lebron Lakers sucked. The 2nd year Lebron & Davis Lakers won it all. A 2021 MVP Candidate.

Maya Moore

Extreme professional sacrifice for a cause that matters. The WNBA has led the way in conviction for years.

Clayton Kershaw

The best pitcher of the last 25 years that finally broke the undeserved playoff “choke” tag. Brought a title to The Dodgers for the first time since 1988.

Teofimo Lopez

He completely kicked the ass of a pound for pound king in Valeriy Lomachenko despite you never having heard of him.

Patrick Mahomes

Reinventing the position of Quarterback. We could be looking at an All time GOAT.

Armand Duplantis

Broke the 26 year old pole vault record of the great Sergey Bubka at 21 years old. Phenom.

Ada Hegerberg

A year to remember the sacrifices of female sports women. Another example to take note of.

Naomi Osaka

The highest earning sportswoman in the world with a voice, a social conscience & another Glam Slam title.

Jurgen Klopp

Followed up a European Cup with the first Liverpool league win since 1991. An unmitigated success as a project.

Luka Doncic

Luka emerged as the generational talent many dared to dream he might be.

Derrick Henry

Took stiff arms to ridiculous levels this year. Single handedly getting every other running back paid next year. Beast Mode.

Marcus Rashford

Quite a tasty player who spoke up & helped a generation of children.

Robert Lewandowski

Won a few things. Scored a few goals.
