IMAGO has called Berlin its home since starting out as a small sports photography agency in 1997 and becoming Germany’s leader in the industry, delivering photography through different eras and perspectives.
IMAGO has always remained true to its roots in Berlin while also bringing in new and international voices throughout the years, turning into the world’s largest sports archive and a multifaceted database of over 100 million photos and growing. Constantly aiming to expand its photographers around the world in news, politics, entertainment and sport, without losing sight of our city, its people, legacies and transformations.
This month, we are looking at the cultural evolutions in Berlin over 25 years, its history in architecture, portraits and impressions from our ever-changing eclectic city.
